The cats are both really good at coming back by 8H30-9am. My year long of training them, Laurel especially, the vagabond, has paid off!

It must have been quite annoying for neighbours to hear me call and bang the bowl for about 9 months outside to retrieve Laurel.

But these same neighbours are themselves extra loud with constant repairs and yard and house work. So only once did I hear a complaint.

Now I rarely call them outside and usually shake the bag of treats, which is less noisy. They are back early on their own! Excellent kitties. And so well trained for their first year at being indoor kitties only... They are 3 years old this june 2026.
