I went looking for him at 10am and a lady told me he was dead on the road nearby. I could not see him. Hubby found his body, very rigid and dead, wrapped in someone's sweater who had left him there, out of the way of the road. his eye was protruding and he had internal head bleeding but not a gross body at all. I was relieved I did not mind seeing his wounded dead body.

Hubby did not recognize him at first when he found the body and brought him home so I could identify him: it was him.

It was obvious to me back in november that this is exactly how he would get killed: crossing back and to mundy park. Better than tortured by gansgters.

He is getting communal cremation and we are not getting ashes back.

All pets sniffed his dead body. Billy and Charlotte were the most puzzled.

Oh Laurel, from the duo born together Laurel and Hardy.

You were a most foolish cat my darling, but a great expert communicator.

And very affectionate. REST IN PEACE, best buddy of Charlotte and Hardy and us both, the humans. How short your ideal life has been!

HERE in your benevolent bardo and enlightened next human life. May we hear of you again dearest Brother of Hardy.

UPDATE A huge grateful thank you to the stranger who wrapped Laurel's body in a sweater by the road. And thank you to hubby for bringing him back, his dead body, and to God. amen. Laurelwill be paid tribute towith his end of life story to come...look for it at the library corner church books box.
