Tough morning where I felt like hell waking up and stayed in bed, not asleep, for a good 2-3 hours more.
BJG yelled at me again while I was in bed, something about the cat.
Everyone is inside today and the weather is nice.
I feel too full of smokes this day, unhealthy.
The vets never ever emailed me back about me thanking them to take care of Laurel's body. I found their lack of reply really weird and thoughtless.*
I really dont have great things to say about this vet clinic.
But our female vet truly loves and adores animals, so that is good.
*We just got Laurel's pawprints and a card from the vet with two messages written in the card: one from reception and one from his personal vet. They are nice enough truly at that vet clinic.
I must say I am super relieved Laurel was not killed by nasty people like i feared since getting him. Most people are nice to animals around here. The fact Laurel's body was so lovingly wrapped in a hoodie shows he had an angel with him when the accident happened, and for that, I am forever thankful and grateful to god and buddha. Om shanti om! The vet was super sweet in her written sympathies in our card. I think truly everyone marveled at how handsome and healthy Laurel always had been. It was SO very expected that he would get killed crossing to Mundy when I saw he was going there every day. A very foolish and way too bold cat. Raised indoor and never truly safe as an outdoor, too bold and fearless. amen.
