I am making a mushroom soup

HERE for the recipe

It is a rather expensive soup as there is minimum 10-12$ worth of mushooms in it, 2 lbs.

And cream.

Way back, when I made that recipe, I said on the blog hubby said it was the 'best mushroom soup he ever had'. So lets see what he thinks this time!

I also bought cambozola blue cheese delicious. Sometimes, I feel like having some blue cheese ,rarely, but I do, a couple of times every so often.We also have bad grocery store bought croissants to go with the cheeses.

It is raining and hubby went to read at the cafe.

Much better than sleeping during the day!

The groceries were about 45$ for not much: a big box of spinach, 1.5 lbs of mushrooms, cambozola cheese, thyme herbs fresh, cream and linguine raw pasta. The easter chocolate is crazy pricey next door. We'll go to London Drugs at the mall where it seems cheaper usually. 

UPDATE

The soup is ready: very salty, like hubby prefers.

We finally have black pepper again after about 4 months without any.

The soup tastes delicious even though the shrooms were not top caramelized.

I skipped the last 10 minutes out of about 30 already, of cooking the veggies.

UPDATE

Hubby hated the soup and says now he does not like mushrooms.
