It is the director of the church that gave us permission for a month. I hope it does not rain so much in april though april is usually fairly wet. Otherwise my books wont be available daily (only on sunshiny days to keep books dry).
I feel like the memorial is mucho safer on church grounds than on the street where his body was found, which is an area a bit trashed up with garbage at times, by the side of the road....
The church is way more communal.
And sacred grounds hopefully. May all go well and the books get picked up to be read by all ages.
I take a moment of silence today to introduce aurel's statue to the garden I will say a Hail mary tonight when I bring lamps, two, for the stake. And bring back the books. I am pretty sure no one will have looked in the box on the first day.
Hopefully , soon they will.
Sunday, i will go meet the pastor and bring him 4 books on Laurel and mention the memorial for a month in the church garden.
Many church members knew of Laurel and met him. Whenever I was looking for him, they all knew him and would tell me if they had seen him that morning....
