This ritual every night time to go pray to the cat's stake at the church is wonderfullly soothing and inspirational. It will also be super sweet to just step in the garden nightly to say my prayers when the stake is back home on april fool's day, so very very appropriate for Laurel as a day in the year.
And in character.
I am tempted to offer to the church to leave a memorial for longer that i will attend maybe once every other day instead of many time daily.
I could just buy a second one. The director looked keen on keeping it there for longer than 10 days. i just dont want to have to walk for 1-2 months to the corner to light up lamps at his site. But it would have been cool to see the stake for 6 months while walking by daily to the austin station shops...Anyway, maybe I am being a bit tad greedy.
I am making the most of the 10 day graceful period of public memorial attended by me many times daily. Once at late night each night.
The putting up of the memorial coincided with three days straight of sun after two weeks of rain. It is perfect for the lamps to not die flooded batteries and all overnight.
I get to see the moon every night late nowadays. It promises to be huge on the first and beautiful. They call it pink moon but I dont know why.*
*Here is what AI google has to say about what the Pink moon is- full moon in april, which symbolizes rebirth ad growth. Perfect to bring Laurel home that day with the stake in our garden.
