All animals, two dogs and a fat cat Hardy, are asleep in the living room with me. While the rain comes down harsh and unforgiving but cleansing. My parents seem to ignore me completely in the last three weeks.

No reply to any of my emails nor phone call....

They forgot my birthday last year.

But had sent me a gift two weeks earlier for it.

They are old.

And happy, bubbly happy even.

I long thought mom would have alzheimer in her end of life and be hospitalized. I foresee none of this by now.

She is having the time of her life so much that she forgets her children! ha!
