The perky colours of the memorial and flowers (plastic in a vase with stones from our garden) looks great in our driveway.

I also miss my TumTum or Tummo, the 15 years old cat, previous to the two tuxedo brothers. Thank god she lived much older than Laurel. Chichi also lived to about 17 years old but was mostly indoor or tied up in our yard. Tummo almost died in front of us at least three times. Hubby rescued her in a barn and in a top peak of a tree, risking his own life and safety often. One night, she came back with a huge sliced up gash under her armpits. Antibiotics shot was given at the vet. She lived a rather rough healthwise life but was much loved and free to come and go as she pleased. Not so with our cats anymore: they are much much pampered and protected.
