I did not go check out the memorial at night with the two tea lights next to it. We'll see tomorrow if it survived the first night. Sometimes, we have youth, rowdy youth, and they can destroy stuff for no good reason.
They come out late at night.
I see it about 2-3 times a year on our street and close by on Bray, where the memorial is located.
May all go well and may the site of Laurel's memorial be protected against vandalism and theft. No one picked any books today in the 4 hours the box was available.
I want to meet the pastor this week end. Sunday after the service at 10am. I will give him 4 of the 5 books on laurel and thank him and ask where to donate at the end of the memorial in a month.
AMEN! MAY THE WHOLE COMMUNITY BENEFIT FROM LAUREL'S BOOKS AND MEMORIAL.
