I am not digesting my ciders from the day...I feel very ill. I am not going to the memorial tonight, first night. I went to light it up though for the night around 18H30.
I really feel bad and I am ashamed the spca thinks very little of us for having had our cat killed. I suspect he was murdered and it was no car accident. Being crushed by a wheel would have destroy way more of his body. The hoodie he was wrapped in looks like someone felt really guilty about him or bad. Donna? She had waned me her husband would kill him if he came back inside their home...why they did not simply close their cat door in the morning I dont know... I am very suspicious of donna and her husband in the death of Laurel. And I have a lot of difficulty accepting Laurel may have been killed by a car....his body was barely mangled, just half his face.
It really looked more like a boot crushing or door crushing slamming.
I could not conceive that Laurel would be foolish enough to die crushed by a car. nor as unlucky as that...I think quite simply he may have been murdered for invading Donna's home. Tonight, I say it and believe it almost- it is a very suspicious wounded body we found of our cat. And she did tell me he would get killed by her husband if he returned to their house...She said he had a very bad temper when angry. And she feared for Laurel's safety when he visited. She told me all this in 2025. her husband called me to say he would mangled and hurt the cat next in 2025. I hung up on him as he was yelling on the phone and I apologized in the name of Laurel. They should have relly simply condemen their cat door in the dawn hours. Their cats are indoor anyway as they cannot escape their fancy cat proof garden. Not laurel proof though.
