I went to freshen up the stake

The flowers had fallen (the vase) because of the wind. I changed the tea lights with new ones though they were going well. I brought them home and put them on the shrine. I said a brief prayer, I forget what. Wishing Laurel good night etc.

I may miss a bit my nightly walk, every night almost, to go to the stake. But it will be way easier if I bring the stake to the garden.

Easier to maintain. And ten days each night to mourn is good plus at home on the shrine with offerings.

I got news from my 75 years old friend, the old dad of an ex friend in high school who partially raised me I was so often at their place....

He is in Quebec city, native from there actually, visiting for now, to see Hamlet at the Grand theatre, where he played his first ever theatre play He is an actor. He said he had many memories tonight.

I feel like everyone I meet is superbly happy nowadays, in the last week. This week, early week. I am certainly bubbling but aching a bit too because of Laurel. BJG read the ghost story and said it was a tear jerker. He liked it enough I think.

Thank you laurel for inspiring such good emotions and duty calls in us all, in me anyway, it is stupendous how you ispire me- I could move mountains for you.

Thank you lord in the sky for Laurel was ours, no matter how brief he was destined to live.
