The good spca branches I have dealt with are Chilliwack, and sea to sky and possibly mapleridge which has very cool dogs very often. What you want is honest spca branches who wil not lie about their crazy dogs if they have any. And will offer support if you adopt a problematic dog. Vancouver spca is the worst spca branch I ever dealt with personally all across canada- they dont like humans there and will protect dogs' longevity instead of humans'. Very crazy hateful people for humanity. Dogs are heroes according to them and humans who complain about crazy dogs are all blacklisted. Just boycott richmond too- their dogs all look crazy very often. For cats adoption, Tri city shelter and squamish shelter both have amazing cats. But keep them indoors.
