I have come across a 2012 story I started writing back then and even submitted to the CBC short fiction contest (Charles Sagalane won that year on the French side of the SRC contest) at the time.

It is set in a Montreal apartment bulding on Fabre street but with an imaginary mall nearby (I was already in Toronto when I first wrote this, near a mall). A Cuban young man falls in love with his neighbour. It is a secret love.

The short story was 5 pages single line originally but reformatted as a 5.5" x 5.5"  chapbook, it counts 36 pages.

Are you interested in reading this story and should I print it?
