Around 2007-2011, I frequented this tibetan temple in Toronto where I made friend with Gonpo, the thanghka painter of the temple. I had lived wit the tibetan nuns in India for 2 months in 2003 and wanted to continue my buddhism practice. At the time, an old lama was heading the temple and he was very nice, in a Grandpa kind of way. His name was Lama Namse. I often went to the potluck, the tsok (offerings of food and prayers sessions), teaching, language classes and volunteered for cleaning a few times.
