This one cost about 3$ this apple though it is rather big. Apples are weirdly expensive. I never thought of them as expensive until now. 1.50 per regular sized apple? That sounds like an expensive fruit to me compared to bananas. Or watermelon. Many years ago, a small mango was 1$ and I always hesitated before indulging buying it. mangoes, kiwi fruits, pommegrenate, were always expensive fruits. Persimmons too. But I never thought of apples are luxury item. I stand corrected, at that price down the road!

I feel way better after two red apples. It is almost magic how an apple can calm your stomach and headache at the same time. The bouquet sent to New Zealand is huge, but it was their smallest option. It looked very pretty.
