Oh gosh this good book is so clearly written. I am very privileged with the three last tibetan books on buddhism I have been reading: they are, all three, riveting. two nunneries got a copy of one of them, the bio of Tenzin Palmo. This woman's dedication to reaching enlightenement the traditional way is remarkable. The author said when she came out of her three years retreat and 12 years living alone, she has a 'glow' which faded after another decade of living back in the modern world, with duties and social life. The tibetan tradition is so very old, that is also why, it is beautiful to behold still today. The stories of saint yoginis and yogis abound in tibet. And of spiritual masters.
