
I got the book today, for my birthday last month. We tried the pumpkin and corn chowder tonight, truly an autumn recipe though. It is good. it has an apple, pumpkin puree, onions diced, frozen corn kennels, nutmeg, two cup of half half and two cups of broth. It takes 20 minutes to make and cook. Nice truly. i made goat cheese crostini with that. The book is covered in poetry too, not just recipes and biographical info. it is a true gem that book. I am very happy I asked for it for my 47th.
