I have inquired to Fiddlehead poetry mag when their jury would stop hteir choices on the winners of their creative non fiction contest. I dont stand a chance but I dont know why not. I just got a subscription to their mag with my entry fee: pretty rank. All the poem I read so far are in the 'i' (the easy form to write poetry in) and all talk about mental illness. Boring. Not even poetic imagery used but more like prose and diary entries, unpolished, unworked out, and quickly written.

I dont really like what is published nowadays in poetry in canadian poetry mags. I never got vallum.
