Hubby, like the slack ass he always is with safety concerns, left Laurel without surveillance for 2 minutes outside. That is obviously a big nono. We just lost Laurel. Hubby fiddling with his coat inside instead of checking on Laurel, had no clue which way he went because he was not keeping an eye on him. He is so careless for being yet devoted.
I knew this would quickly happen. Hubby resisted me keeping the cat inside yesterday. We've had him 3 months: barely time and yet not a long enough time to bond properly and find his way back. I prepare myself for a dead cat, according to hubby. Who turly, never listens about anyone when it comes to pets safety. He is having a crying fit right now. Sigh. He is really a wreck this husband He yelled at me for being vicious because I asked him: why was laurel left without surveillance? He also still does not measure the cat food he gives in the morning. Hardy is fat: we have to measure more precisely than a couple of handful or not every morning. the measuring cup is by the cat food bag, every morning. He refuses to do it simply because he did not come up with the idea i think. So glad I never had to raise kids with him What a tyrant stubborn idiot he would have been to all of us.
May Buddha bring Laurel back home safe to us after his obviously was going to happen though too soon, escape and adventure in the wild on his own. May he live long and with us only if he is happy wiht us. He did not seem as happy recently. Laurel simply chose to leave us. We all hope he will live long and that preferably, we will see him again. I did not even have time to truly bond with him.
UPDATE !!!!!!!!
Laurel came back when I went out in the driveway to walk the street a fourth time since his escape... He had come back towards us and rolled in front of me on the grass. I fed him catto and temptations treats in abundance when he was brought back inside. He is meowing again right now. he is very demanding. We love him and want him always back. Thank you Buddha for today's miracle 6th sense to go out a 4th time as he was turning up in the driveway.
