Laurel seems to only eat fresh wet food nowadays. He seems to hate his nuggets. We will change food: he may just be bored with the flavor.

He has been on it for 10 months.

I am looking at photos of whiskey and reiniscing a bit. He was very challenging in how he never ever understood our commands. The only one of our dog who simply refused to obey. In Toronto, he escaped very often and we would get calls from people after they had taken him literally to the retaurants to be fed sausages...ha ha ha...what a blessed dog! He never ever once was in danger though he got lost a few times.

This was , I have no doubt, a very holy dog though I alway thought him extremely challenging. Disobedience all his life and very very very very slow walker for the last 4 years of his life. He was quite frankly a teacher to me in how to self control my anger because I had to always always always be patient with him. Even when I was super frustrated by his disobedience. Excellence of practice that only a holy dog could have ever made me do. And God's will.

UPDATE

I thought it appropriate to have a smiling Saint Francis late Pope on Whiskey's memory blog entry. The late Pope Francis did call usto embrace all sentient livings.
