I go there with absolutely not much assurance that we will come home with a dog or even get to greet him.

But lsiten to what i have found about chilliwack

-waterfall touristy park 20 minutes drive east of it

-funky punky second hand bookstore

and hear the street names I have to go on...

wellington (like in nz)

hopedale (for the shelter)

bridal veil falls is the name of the park (how romantic!)

etc etc...and there may be a dog for us or not. I see poetic life and signs every which way it looks like for this expedition. Should we rename that dog? I am not so sure as he was quite bonded with previous sad owner. Would probably change the J for a K. I just dida search after I said that on the blog: his new name is thus close to caspar, associated with the three wise men in the New Testament. Also meaning treasure bringer in dutch. My name is also dutch.
