Of the three provinces I have resided in, quebec, ontario and BC, BC is totally primitive and fascist and discriminatory and dangerously violent with their mental health act. It does not matter why you call 911, even if it is for a lift by ambulance to accompany an ill person- if you say it is mental health issue, the cops will turn up,NOT the ambulance and molest you nastily. And they can detain you in hospital if any doctor says they should, even when you are completely pacifist, not a danger to anyone nor yourslef etc. very very fascist is BC. Really really unsafe for mentally ill patients and discriminatory and human rights abuses are constant with it in BC.
