The stats are way down on the shop but I continue writing.

I woke up completely tired though I slept close to 12 hours.

Billy is still not eating.

I looked up a 1991 romantic movie I enjoyed then with river pheonix.

It is called Dogfight.

Very romantic from what I recall. I would love to see the movie again. I may ask BJG to download it.

It is so sad that this promising young actor died so young. It came as quite a shock to my generation.

This morning is one of quiet and sad introspection.  We are so helpess often inthe face of sickness and death. And drug addicions.

River Phoenix may be the only star death that still makes me sad about 30-40 years later.

He defined my generation as I was only 6 years younger than him. He was very handsome but such a fine actor in My own private idaho with keanu reeves. The tears roll perhaps foolishly this morning. He was my teenager years: handsome and kind and well known to us all, the youth of his generation. Rest in peace river pheonix and thank god you are immortalized in fine movies, the best of my youth from america.
