The wrapping of Laurel in a lady's sweater is a bit extraordinary. I am suspicious it may be Donna's husband who killed Laurel, like he theathened to do in 2025 if he kept coming inside his house through the cat door to harass his indoor cats. Only one smal side of Laurel's skull was crushed, suggesting more a door slamming or crushing or boot crushing than a huge car wheel... None of the rest of his body looked wounded but his head, one side only. Getting his head crushed by a car wheel would have mangled his head way more, me thinks. And some of his body.
