I feel so sorry for Laurel: he had such a vey short time as a cat life.
It may very well be Donna's husband who finally killed him like he said he would if he came back inside his house to chase his indoor cats. Laurel became completely OBSESSED with Donna's house and cats and scratched her to blood many times when she tried to put him outside. She said he would chase her most fucked up unlucky toothless cat and harass him and scare him inside his own home.
Donna has many indoor cats and quite a fancy system to keep them indoor though they have access to her fenced in with tech (and flaps to prevent jumping) garden.
This visiting of these indoor cats to go chase them is something I could never control in Laurel. I knew this may happen to Laurel: karma simply and he really chased the trouble at Donna's house.
