I am not sure, I forget, where the tradition of chocolate came from for Easter but it is brilliant- chocolate on the most depressing period of anyone who loved Jesus in Jesus life. It is true that the chocolate are typically given on the day of his resurection, so that makes more sense than given them on Easter Friday, when everyone cries for Jesus.
