I am very pleased so far with my reworks on Basil on the street,  a 15 pages short story speaking of Manitous in the Ojibway tradition and speaking of tibetan magic and homelessness in Toronto. It is  a very satisfying exercice in story telling. Now , with the help of the hubby's editing skills ,  I am reworking the complexity of the vocabulary. I have yet to finish reading the chapter on Kitchi Manitou in The manitous by Basil Johnston, my inspiration in the Ojibway tradition for this short story.
