I have just submitted the story of Basil on the street by Laurence to the Malahat Review magazine. The last time I submitted with them must have been around 2014. I have never been published in their magazine. I was thinking of submitting to Fiddlehead journal but since it is located out east and Malahat is out west, and I am out west, I went with Malahat.

I have submitted many manuscripts in the last year to publishers and I have received only one reply so far: a rejection. Now I am going to start submitting to journals instead of publishing houses.

I seem to have improved and quickened my pen in fiction recently. Maybe something to keep in mind: focusing on writing one fiction a week, as in the last two weeks with Livre IV: La nouvelle planète and Basil on the street.
