Hubby is taking the day off. He is not working today. Tomorrow and Friday is teaching. He has grading to do also. I hope I dont drink booze for the rest of the week. I need to take a break, its been rather intensive since christmas and in the last two weeks all the drinking almost every night.

I have discovered a few things though in that time: the best local BC cider from Sea Cider and what an english rosé is (fortified wine). I have rekindled with my favourite Kilkenny irish beer. And I had one excellent wine, the crows nest, a pinot noir. 

I did quite a bit of cleaning and housechores yesterday so I too am taking it easy today. Thought this loo floor so filthy has to be cleaned downstairs rapido and soon. 

I am eating a banana. Hubby made himself an omelette this morning. All is well and he is reading the news upstairs and watching West Side story, the recent remake excellent. It is a musical with great choregraphy too and dancers. Very bright colours. Superb film visually and musically.
